It is significantly stronger than commercially pure titanium while having the same stiffness and thermal properties. Among its many advantages, it is heat treatable. This grade is an excellent combination of strength, corrosion resistance, weld and fabricability. This is the same grade of titanium that is used in biomedical implants. Titanium is a very lightweight and durable metal that does have the ability to scratch, which can be buffed out; it can dent but it should not crack.
